The Latin Lab promotes activities for the dissemination and knowledge of Latin in the following ways:
- The design and management of language courses at different levels, with specific practice and tutorial programmes to support the curricular teaching of the departments.
- Designing seminars and specific initiatives, both didactic and scientific, on sectoral languages, also from the perspective of chronological differentiation, with a view to strengthening the University’s international Erasmus and bilateral agreements for the Classics sector.
- To organise seminars and specific initiatives on the teaching of Latin and the professional development of teachers, in collaboration with UNITN-FIRS, PAT-IPRASE and with the schools in Trentino.
- Organisation and annual management of the Latin Language Certificate, in collaboration with the UniTn and the Province of Trento, aimed at schools in Trentino.
- Designing scientific and ‘third mission’ initiatives in the field of Latin language and culture in its various forms and in its interactions with other languages and cultures.
